The truth is that our natural tendency is towards interdependence, but when we experience an injustice as children, in order to survive we have to build a shield to protect ourselves.As we grow older, we don’t need that shield anymore but unfortunately it molds into our skin and it becomes the operating system with which experience the world.In a way the feminist movement came in and found a way to justify that operating system and make it feel like empowerment. This is where we are today with many women finally waking up to a new possibility. A possibility of sovereignty and not independence.
