55. Make your Mark!

from Good Boss · host Coco Studio

Happy Tuesday friends! Welcome back to Good Boss land.  Today I wanted to talk about the deeper meaning behind my business' (Coco Studio) tagline: empowering brands to make their mark. After hearing from a few inspiring people at a Perth industry event I got very deep and reflective on the whole idea of 'making a mark'. Today I wanted to delve into all of that by looking at some of my favourite Aussie brands and how they don't just talk-the-talk but genuinely walk-the-walk. I'll also be sharing a few tangible tips on how you can start the inner work of figuring out what mark you want to make (it's not as easy as choosing a pizza topping that's for sure).  This week's recommendations are; How to Run a Profitable Business and Make Money by Chris Do and You're a Badass at Making Money by Jen Sincero. Good Boss Podcast is an extension of my passion for balancing good creative with good business. Want to support the poddy? I am giving a raise to anyone who clicks 'follow' on Apple and Spotify. (Bonus holiday approved by me for anyone who leaves a five-star review!)  Find me in all the online hubs listed below: (and in West Perth for any local creatives who want to have coffee, yay to new friends!) Follow @goodbosspodcast, Follow @coco.studio____ (still holding out hope for a better username... with less underscores). Check out my website: www.cocostudio.com.au. Thanks for listening, I appreciate you ♥

Jesus also references the commandments in his sermon on the mount saying, “...whoever does them [the commandments] will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 5:19) Looking forward to exploring these with you!
