55. Robotripping? (MURDERER: Matthew Phelps)

Send us a textOn today's episode of LOTW Becky and Bevy discuss the brutal murder of Lauren Hugelmaier. Lauren was a young Christian woman that was hoping to find a man who valued and prioritized God in his life as much as she did. When she reconnected with a guy that she went to middle school with over Instagram, she thought she found just that - a god-fearing man whom she could spend the rest of her life with. However, only a year into their marriage her husband, Matthew Phelps, called 911 with a disturbing claim that he had killed his wife. He mentioned to the 911 operators that he had taken a lot of cough medicine somewhat implicating that he was out of his mind when the attack happened. Was he actually robotripping or was something far more sinister at play? Case Sources: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upHIHLF2QpA, https://www.goodmorningamerica.com, https://www.reddit.com/r/TrueCrimeDiscussion/comments/6zbpfs/lauren_hugelmaier, https://heavy.com/news/2017/09/lauren-hugelmaier-phelps-murder-husband-photos-facebook-instagram-obituary/Insurance BrokerKristen [email protected] the showSupport us @ buymeacoffee.com/luminolont5Instagram @luminolonthewallEmail: [email protected]: Luminol on the Wall
