#55: The Kingdom Daughters Edition To Becoming The Best Version Of Yourself

from Uniquely You with Destiny Pickens · host Destiny Pickens

Society's idea of becoming the "best version of you" involves making the lives of others the standard and trying to live up to it.We are God's children. We shouldn't desire things God doesn't have in His plan for us. We should be intentional in living life in God's way.In this episode, we will be learning, in 4 ways, how to be the best version of the women God has called us to be. Being a woman of integrity.Living your life according to God's values and instructions is, in a nutshell, what integrity entails.Perfection is not a requirement with God involved. Walking in integrity is not getting stressed and burned out because we simply follow God's instructions. Being Content. How often do you take inventory of what God has done for you? Are you patient enough to explore the opportunities He has placed on your palms and the request He has granted, or are you in a hurry to ask for the next big thing?Being content tells a lot about where our heart is. The first step to practicing contentment as God's daughter is to believe that God is enough for you. Responding in humility. We have nothing to offer God that He doesn't already have. God doesn't need us to be who He is. It's a privilege to have a relationship with Him. The realization of this fact should bring about a humbling effect in our dealings with God. When we go before him, we should recognize His supremacy over all and act accordingly. Act in love.Love holds no bounds, so irrespective of our relationship with others, as children of God, we are expected to express love to everyone.Being patient, making ourselves available for service to others, and forgiving all rings are ways we can love others.Being the best version of ourselves doesn't stop at evolving in our crafts because, as Christians, we have been called to serve, so we are saddled with the responsibility of thinking about others when we think about making ourselves better.Scriptures Mentioned Proverbs 10:9 2nd Corinthians 8:21 Proverbs 22:4 2nd Chronicles 7:14 1st Peter 5:6-7 1st Peter 4:8www.Destinypickens.comAudio engineering by Christopher Pickens--- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/uniquelyyou/messageSupport this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/uniquelyyou/supportSend us Fan MailSupport the show
