56: How to Create Music for Movie Trailers with Cliff Lin

from The Artsy Now Show: Creative Entrepreneur Maniacs! · host Heath Armstrong

Cliff Lin a composer who has been featured on numerous films, trailers, commercials, games, and records and had worked on popular projects such as The Expendables 3, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, Prometheus, Sucker Punch, Green Lantern, Conan: The Barbarian, Transformers, The Golden Compass, Hell Boy, and Abduction.  A dropout of Berklee, Cliff wanted to create his own methods for learning and collaborating through music.  Moving back into his parent’s house, he stayed true to any opportunity that presented itself through constant production and persistence of sending his work to companies all over the country.  Eventually, he discovered an opportunity for an internship in NYC and booked the flight immediately.  One thing triggered another… and Cliff started his world domination.  Check out his trailer production music AND his side project band City Girl.  They are both incredible.
