It is important to sell yourself on the product and business, even without tangible results, and to approach every post as a sales opportunity. The focus of selling should be on helping your customer get what they want. The famous Zig Ziglar quote, "Help enough other people get what they want and you'll get what you want." remains true. Many people in network marketing start their business with the goal of achieving their own financial goals, but they also want to help others achieve their goals. However, when it comes to marketing and selling, they often default to only thinking about their own goals and give little attention to their customers or potential team members. This can make the selling process feel "icky" and salesy. To overcome this problem you need to focus on both personal and customer goals. Mastering the skill of selling is critical to success in network marketing because without sales, there is no business. By helping customers get what they want, you can also achieve your own goals.
