She played for 8 years with Asleep at the Wheel, which lead to collaborations with Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Merle Haggard and Dolly Parton. As for recording work, she's collaborated with Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Leon Redbone, Livingston Taylor, Artie and Happy Traum to name, but a few.
