563. GUNS N HOSES Caring first responders in sanctioned boxing matches raise money for surviving spouses and families of first responders.

2024 GUNS N HOSES SATURDAY, JUNE 22, 2024 Kansas City - MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM Since 2005, the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission (KCMCC) has hosted the Guns N Hoses event that pairs our area's finest Police Officers, Fire Fighters and Paramedics to compete in sanctioned boxing matches that celebrate the strength, dedication and loyalty of these awesome men and women. This event benefits the programs of the KCMCC, primarily the Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund (SAFE). SAFE provides financial assistance to the dependent families of first responders in SAFE's 12-county coverage area who are killed or suffer catastrophic injury in the line of duty. Often, insurance and other benefits can take weeks or even months to pay while the financial responsibilities for the family do not stop.
