57 Jesus was Crucified

This is message 57 in Gospel Record of John John 19:16-37 The cross was not a tragedy outside of God's control but the very purpose for which Christ came into the world. Every wound, every word, and every detail unfolded exactly according To the plan of God and the promises of Scripture. The One who suffered did so willingly, bearing the penalty of sin in full and completing the word of redemption once and for all. Even in His deepest suffering, His compassion, His authority, and His kingship remained on display. What appeared to be defeat was in reality the greatest victory ever won, as the Savior finished the work that only He could accomplish.
