57: Julia Lindenthal in the hot seat

On November 9, 2024 the unthinkable happened. Julia’s father, seemingly healthy and in great shape, died very suddenly. Only after receiving autopsy results did she and her family learn what he died from: aortic dissection due to arterial plaque calcification. This prompted Julia to want to make people more aware and prepared for the sudden death of a loved one and raise awareness for the need for arterial plaque removal. She started a fundraiser in her fathers name through The Heart Foundation and is in the process of preparing for her first ever Ted Talk on this issue.Julia believes you can turn your worst life experiences into meaningful learning opportunities to help other people and even into business ventures and a career.
