On June 18, 2014, Justin Ross Harris left his 22 month old son Cooper Harris in a hot car for 7 hours while he was at work. He was charged with his murder among many other things and was sentenced to life without parole. But on June 22, 2022, his murder charges were overturned by the Georgia Supreme Court due to an unfair trial.
