58. Fire: When God Meets You in the Heat

Some seasons feel like sand. We also ask the harder questions: What is this fire exposing in me? Where am I suppressing grief instead of bringing it to God? Am I expecting my spouse to carry what only Christ can carry? What if the fire is opening something eternal? The miracle of the furnace was not the absence of flames. It was the presence of the Fourth Man.
