58. Let's Start A Band! On-Gaku: OUR SOUND

We’re back this week to talk about a pretty unique film that was created almost single handedly by Kenji Iwaisawa called On Gaku Our Sound. This isn’t just your run of the mill anime movie about a delinquent guy who looks like Saitama and wants to start a band. No, this is very stylized story telling mixed with vibrant sound design and animation sequences that pop out of the screen. This film is definitely something anyone who has gotten into any kind of music can relate to and rang pretty true to Geoff and Dan who have been in numerous bands of their own.
