#58 - Regenerative Indoor Creek Ecosystem | Josh [Yellow Skunk Farms]

from The Shed Organics Show · host Jordan - The Shed Organics

This week we are joined by Josh from Yellow Skunk Farms in Virginia, United States. Josh has been building a regenerative indoor creek ecosystem that is enabling him to grow incredible plants and medicine in his garage. The ecosystem itself features multi layered foundations of sand, silt and clay, a flowing creek into a pond and multiple planting holes of high quality soil. The system is built to be self-sustaining and has everything it needs, all working together. Josh explains the process of starting this project and how important observation of natural systems has been in his journey to create this natural masterpiece. He uses it to grow medicine and has featured full daily updates on his social media channels - documenting the entire process online! It was fascinating for me to find out more about this project and I am sure you will find lots of value too!
