#58 Roy Scranton – Our drive to make meaning is more powerful than oil

Roy Scranton is the author of We’re Doomed. Now What? (Soho Press, 2018), and Learning to Die in the Anthropocene. He has written for Rolling Stone, the New York Times, The Nation, and elsewhere. We recorded this conversation in front of an engaged auidence at the public library in Gothenburg during The Gothenburg Filmfestival on the 26th of January. The theme for this years film festival was The Apolaypse, so thanks a lot o the filmfestival who chose to expose the climate crises in many different ways.
