Script おはようございます。日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。 今日は、"おてあらい"と“トイレ"についてです。 みなさん、トイレはきいたことがあると思います。 「すみません、トイレはありますか?」 「トイレはどこですか?」 といいます。 トイレのべつの言い方で、 "御手洗(おてあらい)"があります。 おてあらいも、トイレも、同じいみです。 おてあらいは、漢字では、 手を洗(あら)う、とかきます。 手を洗うことができる場所(ばしょ) つまり、トイレのことですね。 私はよく、お店では、トイレよりおてあらいといいます。 お店の人に、 「おてあらいは、どこですか?」 「あちらですよ。」 「ありがとうございます。」 と言います。 私はとくに、ご飯を食べる場所で、おてあらいといいます。 レストランやカフェですね。 なぜかというと・・ ご飯を食べている、ほかの人がいるので、 "トイレ"と言いたくないからです。 手を洗う場所、のいみの方が、 聞こえてもいいような気がします。 なので、ともだちの家に行くと、 「あ、ちょっとトイレかりてもいい?」 といいます。 日本で"おてあらい"、ぜひつかってみて下さいね。 では、今日も最後まで聞いてくれて、だんだん、です! また明日。
