Hello and welcome back to Turbo Sports Radio, issue number 58. Now if you're a regular listener, you'll probably know that our general content is skateboard oriented. But this episode we're going to try something a bit different. I'm sure you can tell that us at Turbo we like our video games.
So we thought we'd try a hand at a few Retro Gaming Paste podcasts. To help me with this, I've asked a couple of my old friends back in the day who I grew up playing video games with, I'll be joined by Matt and Ben who like me grew up with all the classic consoles. Now this is a versus battle edition of the podcast. So we're going to have two classic video games going head to head and see in which one is Superio Game.
Today's battle is between two platform games from the Super Nintendo, probably two games you've never heard of, not many people have. So we've got plot versus claymates. In the known universe is a battle of the ages and a subject, especially a subject that obviously only probably three people on the planet catch the plot. Because you don't fuck out with ladies games, it is plot versus claymates.
I mean before we actually get into like the gameplay or anything like that, do either of you actually know what the fuck is? He's like a precursor to Rayman, is anything? Yeah, I think he's just shit Rayman isn't he? Rayman there wants to be a fireman every now and then.
Poor man's Rayman, yeah. That seems to go through the same level about 20 times. I mean, he did come before Rayman by about 30 years, but he's still a poor man's Rayman. He's a poor man's Rayman.
I think he's a Rayman. Rayman. I think that's a question. Yeah, right.
So you still didn't answer the question of what the fuck is it? You just said he's a poor man's Rayman. His main enemies were a giant pair of lips, terrifying villain in all of Game History. Please and let's go.
Why is he fighting fleas and frogs? But his fingers that he dresses up as like policemen and firemen like a boxer. I've been I've been in the country. It's grandad.
The original plot is made. He's like plots are titled as passed down from generations to generations. Yeah, it's great. It's original for when he's grandad.
Yeah, that it takes a bit too long. There's probably about five too many levels of being his grandad. It's not an idea. And they thought we like this idea.
We keep a stick with that forever. And the trouble was they just continually just have the same thing again and again and again. They thought everybody really enjoyed that level. That's just one of that level.
It's a good level. It's making it again. I love it. It's been brilliant.
Yeah, I've actually been playing it recently. So I did complete it. Got to the end. Show you boys the screenshot of him at the end.
Just sitting on a sofa like that is how anti-commact ticket is. It's fucking shit. It doesn't really count if you save snakes. So it can't really go in a CV can it?
No, I'd still put in bracket safe states. You try it. I complete your battle toads the other day as well with safe states. And I tell you right now that fucking counts because you have my best nest controller that you can plug into your computer.
If you're hugging earlier and you won't sit in a green room for fucking two hours, you've actually got an N64 controller USB style. I think what I said was snails, isn't it? I mean, you may as well tell me you've got a mega drive controller. It's not the same as it.
That's the same point I made. Yeah, it still works. And I did complete it. So I don't actually think I completely back in the day.
I don't think it's difficult. It's difficult. It's really fucking hard. No one had had the patience to go through it because every time you do a level, you achieve it, you're bored.
What's it doing? A level again? I definitely think I beat the island around once. But yeah, when it says you got to do the whole island again, that's when I think everyone in the one says part of this game.
It's a poor man's dream. Once you turn the clock chainsaw like once, it's been like, ah, it's been a dumb answer. I think it's, it's only been changed into the chainsaw that many times. You only get that chainsaw but you probably change into it like three times in a whole fucking game.
And then you change into the UFO. Oh, yeah, it's like vehicles at the end, don't you? It's really fucking difficult. And I tell you again, then you're fucking hitting me with a safe state shit.
I'm telling you right now, you would not be doing it. If you wouldn't even get to that, you would just you would just snap the controller enough because you wouldn't have got to it. It's just it's not even worth your while without safe state. Not the laptop in half.
Just like, it's not worth it. You got so angry with it, then you're a slap jolly. That's how I do it. Even I'm as a field it for that.
You're throwing this thing in a bin. I've got to cross you to be. The world record for a block is 29 minutes and it was set three months ago. What, the world records are doing it.
Yeah, someone, people are still playing clock. It was recently played three months ago on this night. You should have got anyone in the podcast, man. Yeah, could you?
It's some German guy, right? You should send him. Send him in the fight. Literally, I'm going to do that.
That is going to be a good one. Get us into the man. Come on the podcast. Talk about why you're so into the plot and you beat it three months ago in 29 minutes, 21 seconds.
That is ridiculous because I saw a playthrough before I thought about kind of like fucking going for it and actually playing it again. And it was around like two hours. Yeah, that's the same. When I saw it, I thought I'm not walking two hours a clock.
I'm not walking two hours a clock. I'm not walking two hours a clock. I hate to walk in water splatters. Yeah.
Well, I did. Was it two hours of the same level over and over and over again? Getting more and more frustrated. Yeah, I think you think off the first level, you just really shit it.
It was popular though. It was like, it was really like, clock was supposed to be like the next Mario. I mean, Nintendo were in talk to the boys that did it. They were saying like, Oh, this is going to go really good.
Like, it was like one of those, like, I mean, that's like, like, there's so many bloody characters and mascots and different bloody things. He was like, always going to be the next big thing, part people were loving him. Miss Nintendo wrote down. He said, Mario, number one, Sonic, number two, clock, number three.
He did. That's legit. I saw that. Yeah, I was from like Nintendo power from 1994 or something.
People loved it. People really thought it was going to go well, but they just, they just parked up a thing by just making it the same thing constantly. They should have done like a little block snippet game with like, really, I can't wait to play it more because they milked it. They were like, I'm not going to another fucking clock game.
I was waiting number four years in my life. But yeah, it's sold 200,000 copies in the US and 200,000 copies in Europe, which really ain't a lot is it in a grand scheme of things. That's a lot of people. They need some comparison stats.
It's like Mario's now. Mary would have sold like eight billion or something. You know, just other than that. I ain't got the numbers right in front of me.
I could find them if I needed to. But yeah, Mario's got to be like right up there. Sonic, we're not talking about Sega right now. So he doesn't get, you don't get on the podcast.
But that ain't a lot. 200,000 a lot. It can't be. How many people there in London then?
He can't get in my dressing London. You ain't getting clocked. Yeah. Yeah.
They were thinking I put a big statue of London, left and swear on the fourth plimp all over it. Like I was saying he did around with the PS5 reveal. They were like, yeah, let's put plucked head all over the underground. It's going to be huge.
I'm bringing him back. I'm going to start putting it on. I'm clocked. I'm clocked.
I'm clocked everywhere. You watch it next week, mate. Everyone will be blocking everything. Maybe all the TikTok crazies and we all have clocked.
I heard when Blobby Land was about to close, we're in talk to buying it and telling him to block that. He was. If they started blasting out of the clock music, they were out. Blobby Land.
That's the best thing about the clock. Right. How many 400,000 copies, right? How many cartridges have you actually still in it?
They're in existence now. Because obviously I've only seen one copy ever and you were always in the back of the clock. I sold it five years ago. I didn't know what left in the world and matched all that for 20p.
No one brought it back. No one wanted it. I couldn't give it away. I tried to put it in a bundle with Roadrunner and I was actually scapping to that.
No, I stuck it. You got a message, didn't you? Some guy saying, yeah, I'll take Roadrunner off you, but please can you see the clock? Actually, it's not worth the shipping if I have to pay for the clock.
I don't really like to make a man too. I'm not my hand bit enough enough, man. I see Grandma. That was down with metal.
I think it went quite well as well. The clock, the clock did go on its own. I honestly thought clock in Claymates would have bit my hand off that. If that remastered double-back came up today, it's so millions.
People were waiting for the Claymates remaster. Wow, well, you obviously don't be keeping up with the news. Claymates are making a comeback, man. If you've been reading the retro news, it's coming back on the other cane.
It's Claymates done by the same people that did Clayfighter. Yes. Right. Right.
They saw a format and they thought we're sticking with that. Well, it's a story for you though. It's a story. They didn't actually want to call it Claymates.
The designer was gutted. I think it's in the play. They said it's called it Squidgey Bastards. Squidgey Bastards was the original working title.
They thought Claymates were going to fight a better. We're talking about Claymates now. Do you know the initial story line, if you will, if you're going to sell it to someone and say, guess what happens? It'll start at Claymates.
You're bringing them in. What the main old boys name? What crack is? What is he doing?
Wasn't his grandad was a professor and he found a way to make people turn into animals, but he has to use clay to do it. You're close. Yeah. So it's actually his dad.
Oh, his name is Clayton, obviously. Right. Yeah. Yeah.
And basically it was his dad's test subject to fuck about with this voodoo shit and turn into animals and shit. But then there's voodoo shame and comes in and then turns Clayton into a ball of clay. So the dad has made the animals as well. So Ben, it was your favourite animal then?
I think the duck was pretty cool, but wasn't he pretty useless? Yeah, his jump was terrible. He said he had the best design. The rat was probably the most useful because he could just.
Yeah, I like the rat. Yeah. The cat was good as well, but probably a little bit slow. The only flamour tree and swag.
He's getting nasty and gives someone a little jab. I thought you're going to say the fish. I thought you were going to say your sort of fucking fish. Fish was rubbish.
Yeah, I don't know. I thought I was going to say the fish. The fish was the Mario toe of the claymate's world. Yeah.
Yeah. When you got the fish on the land and he's walking on his fins and it's just dead swag. It's painful. It's realistic though.
Could you say he got 10 seconds to actually walk around on the land? Yeah, like all fish do. That's what fish are then like in real life. Yeah, 10 seconds.
Exactly. I also looked up claymates official speedrun where like Plock had like a big community on here. There's only two people that play claymates ever and actually that's free from a play event. I'm going to get the zenations wrong straight away.
The world records into be four hours set by Ryan Dodds. Well, no, how quick do you think the claymate speedrun is? Well, so if Plock was two hours, it's the one that we watched and I've seen a claymate one that's similar about two hours. So I'm saying someone's probably done it.
The last level's a fucking hard though. So it's got to be a 36 minute job, something around there. So the world record was set three years ago by a Canadian dude and it was 16 minutes, 50 seconds. Oh, no, hold on a second.
There's cheats in it and there's warps. So that Canadian can go fucking self. It's a cheat. I'll tell you what, actually, you're right.
Walkless run was 35 minutes, 18 seconds. Ah, see. There you go. You know, you're playing with how much you can be researching and playing claymates.
You have the in depth knowledge of this now. Do you know their names? Do you know the characters' names? Duckie, catty, ratty, Goldie probably.
And what's your one? It's a bobcat when he as well. So it's probably a puppy. I actually thought you got it back when you said that because the fish is called guppy, I think, or something like a goopy.
It's a goby fish or something, isn't it? Oh, fuck no. You just look like a pink fish. I don't know what it is, but I didn't, there's you like, actually, looking into what these actual animals are.
It's like, that's a duck. It's not a matter. It's a duck. What are the names in?
Oh, it's Muxter. Here's the cat. Muxter. Yeah, Muxter.
The rat is, I think he was called ratty or something like that. I can't remember. I was stretched this out while I'm kind of talking. I'll just Google it at the same time to make out that I'm talking about.
I'll just talk to him to try and claim its character names at the same time. The mouse was called Uzi. Uzi the mouse. I'm a glob mister, the gopher.
That might be someone must have fucked around with these names. I can't even want to get a cat. I name them glob mister. That's the gopher's name.
Yeah, just to name any poll. Let's get into some of the levels of clay mates. So I personally like the Japanese level. I thought it was pretty good, but it's interesting how you got real blokes knocking about in that one.
Actual samurai is coming at you. What were your thoughts on that? Did you like real blokes coming into the game? Would you prefer them to still be kind of weird monsters or like those lizards that shoot fucking fire?
Do you think about the Japanese level? Is it more of a slightly virgin racial stereotypes? Is it like one of those things that makes you feel a bit uncomfortable? Claiming it.
Is this alright in this teenage? Is this alright? Is that allowed? I mean that was my feeling.
The clown's doing it good. Like how did you do anything at the end of it? They looked like actual clay and rest of everybody just classic old school gaming. But yeah, that would be a little bit so I was worried if I should be enjoying it or not.
Even as a young 12-year-old, playing clay mates I thought. Obviously I have to watch in birded manning, Kenya Brit and somebody really got to be me. I thought, well this is a bit, I'm not sure how honest is it alright? I quite woke up at 12-year-old boys in the 80s.
Clay mates was a story that came back for you then was it? It was mate. I was like that's it. I was writing to write a Nintendo power.
Got my little leprechow. Went to Nintendo power and said, come on now boys, you can't endorse this. No matter how great a game is. Right, so Ben, you know about speed runs and shit like that then mate.
Has anyone done a classic blue ball only? Unfortunately, the record say there aren't any blue ball only runs. I think because the run is still going on right now, it started when the game came out and that's just one jump there. They just can't seem to do.
So like if anyone can get that jump, I can do this. Yeah, the world record will be about five years. I think I was probably playing with blue balls as a 12-year-old boy to be fair. Well, yeah, your personal record for blue balls mate.
Every game I played like that I was playing with blue balls mate. I was thinking of the record for most games playing with blue balls. I was thinking earlier that could you? I think you probably could.
If someone could actually, you know, any designers out there listening have got too much time in their hands. Stick clock into clay mates. Alright, can you fit into that world? Make a clay clock?
I think you would look alright in there. Not, you know, knocking about and just obviously you can't climb like the cat or anything. But you can jab a few punches and get his sore thing and maybe his tank or his hovercraft that everybody goes around. Did you have a power where he turned into a circle and went really, really quick?
Is that the chainsaw? Yeah, the bus door. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Maybe the bus door only came up like he just zoomed across and went through the whole level but you missed all the good stuff. So I think I'm starting to remember which one I prefer. Which one did you prefer that? I think I'm more of a plot guy.
Going through it. I think I remember more about plot can I enjoy plot more? I thought you were going to go clay mates Ben. When I was just talking to the plot man, I'm looking at it now.
I think I'm more of a clay mates fan. Clay mates is shit. On reflection, I think clay mates might have been terrible and plot the greatest game of the generation. The thing about clay mates it was good is you got to do like a little puzzle before you get to the actual level.
I think plot is not bare enemies. You know, big lip boys and demons. They're lovely to fight. I mean, I mean, the music I block got a physical release so I'll give it up.
You've got to fight a vinyl release of the music. Those bits in the middle where you've got those robots to pick up a bomb and break through a tree and that sort of shit. I'm telling you right now. I played that recently and you get stuck on them and that is the most second thing you can go through playing a game.
You'll be like, play a Mario 3. Not going about the levels. Just like, going through the levels and you just can't get to the level. That's what it's the worst design ever.
It was bullshit. It's alright. It walks through an axe and chops down a tree. You don't have to do much.
In Japan or whatever, you've got to fucking shift some cuts about and make the robots hit them at a certain angle. They pick up an axe, smash real a tree. Everyone picks them up on me. I have to smash through something else.
But it took me probably a fucking hour to work out and do that. To claim it's not even the level. That makes me, you know, I'm thinking, you know, on reflection, if I'm more of a plot guy just for that one reason because plot doesn't have none of that bullshit in the middle. Alright, let's stand back for a bit of wrestling.
It won't block his level. The real winner. I think the, if plot had three or four more different levels instead of just going through the same island 100 times, then it'd be, I think your plot could just half. If they just cut it in half and that was at the end of it, you'd probably be more on board with it.
Yeah, I think if plot cad claymates levels, I think it did that again. Yeah, some of the plot ones you'd have to sort of, you'd have to go, like you say, that's what you have to go up. There's that one western one where you were just simply stuck in a giant room as well, like a building at the bottom. There was like a fucking, seemed a nightmare to get out of.
I just remember being like, there's like a building at the bottom and he's like in the western world and then he actually over jump right up at the top and go around like loads of swings and then there's like chainsaws and some of the swings. That was a fucking horrible level. Kept on your toes there, was it bad? Yeah, that level you have to go all the way to the left, go up to the top, drop down again, and then go all the way to the right to kill the rest of the fleas on that side that we were talking about.
Yeah, that level was horrendous to play. That was a good one. That's the one you normally get to, you'll be like, that's enough plot now. I actually had that feeling, like when I was at that level, I was like, this is giving me deja, but it's like, did I actually get past this before?
Because this would have been hard to actually kind of just go, oh for fuck's sake, I can't do this again. Exactly. You know, even if you can't justify it. With safe states.
When you're starting, you're thinking about it, you had to go and watch that. The secret world of Alex Mack was on, you had to go and watch out. The secret secrets of Alex Mack, that was a winner. We've only high was starting, am I sitting in the hotel, so we had to turn and compute.
Yeah, secret valley high was on. Secret valley high, sweet secret valley high, you sound like Mack, which was on the map. And Becky was coming down the stairs kicking off because Ben went to watch this. No, we should just start him, weren't you Ben?
No, we should. Secret. Ben, you slept my weeks, didn't you? It was a lovely show, you know, took on your heartstrings.
I was more of a moment of vampire. Oh boy, we're like a vampire. I think I was probably about 17. I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know. The vampire to my heartstrings the same way as my weeks. I mean, they're both feminist icons.
They're strong feminist icons, Ben. So we declaring that the plot is victorious in this in this versus battle between plot and your mighty claimate. Are we saying it? Because I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, it's better.
I've got to put it shit. Who do you have a beer with? You're taking him to London to a comic con and you want to force some beer down a break. I'm not a bit with pluckies, legal aids drink, they're little boy who turns into positive animals.
Yeah, what the fuck is that? How am I taking him from here? Who's that boy you got with, yeah? Aye, he's claimate.
He's 12. Yeah, but turning to a dog, he's like 49. I don't know if I'm going to make it. I'm not going to drink a bit.
What's that fish doing on the bar? The only part of me pluckies though, they'll be like getting out of here. He's legless. Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
I'll be fine. But to be fair, I think pluck would be a good comic con. I think we should do a comic con. That's a good shout.
What all different types of pluck? You're all in the block, yeah. Carp in the block. All the plucks of plucks would be good.
Okay, so Ben, Ben, who are you going as then? What pluck are you first, dibs? It's an astronaut pluck. Is that one of them?
Yeah, there's a spaceship pluck, you were a faux pluck. And there's American astronaut where an American helmet pluck. So I don't know which angle are you going for there? Because I would say astronaut plucks, probably more American helmet pluck.
It's two different space plucks. I don't remember that. He's got a rocket pack. You've got to get right to the end, Ben.
Right, he's only one who's ever seen him in the live. Yeah, Matt, you must be going his old Vinny Jones pluck, isn't you? You've got the tassel pluck off. So I'll just have to blow some powder in your face and you'll be sorted to be away with you.
Yeah, a bit of towel. Can't be fine. That's all I need, mate. Bit of towel.
And I'm done. Grandpa pluck. Are you going as an amazing? Oh, my God, tank pluck.
And I just, obviously you can get a cardboard involved, can't you? So I can just get a cardboard box and write tank on the side of it. I'm pretty sure I have that's how the best Comic Con outfits usually go. It's just in my opinion written in IMI on their forehead.
That's how people know you are. Yeah, yeah. He's that boy. That's fine, Ben.
That's fine. He's lying, though. Lying, oh, nice. All right.
Let's just give Claymates a chance. And if we were to go as Claymates to Comic Con, who would you go as and how would you do their costume? Obviously, you've got to keep the budget down. So maybe five to 750 is the budget of how much you're spending on this outfit.
I'm doing that right and just carry myself in tin foil. Yeah, beer is well good doing London. You get the tin foil and a beer for 750, probably. Yeah, it's the best way to make it.
That's that right. I always use it, still, really. Easy, easy, easy. Shout with people's faces.
Yeah, just biting people. How are you going to do the little silver orb to rotate around you once you've picked up your seconder? Soft tin foil. That's the tin foil, right?
That's the tin foil. Just go on and say it's a ball. Get a coat anger. Stretch it out.
Stick a ball on the top of a coat anger. And then stick the other coat anger in the back of the costume. And just bring all your back. It will just spin round.
It's walking around. It's spinning. It's spinning. That is pretty good.
I mean, I was going to say, I would hold the tin foil for you, mate. If you held my ball, why would I hold George and spin that bubble head? You two or just be a bean. No, I don't need it, mate.
I've got a fort for you. Can I hold it? Hello, mate. Yeah, I like that.
Yeah, I sound eastern. Yeah. All right, Betty, you dressed in the first end. I mean, it's got a bee.
What is the bee was named? Glove mice there. You've got a lot of glove mice there. I mean, that's a strong look and a strong character.
I think acorns are quite expensive these days. So you throw in a round, you throw in one round and pick up every time you throw it. It's just me. Yeah, yeah.
Just go in there and I'm chucking an acorn. That's not what I'm going to be like. I'm really sorry about that. It's just me, it's just my character.
It's just my gimmick. You know, if your friend's pine cones round, I'm going to say, well, I'm going to say, that's a pine cone. You've got to be true to your character then. Get it right.
I'm going to go round some London parks and pick up some pine cones. You probably do that on the weekend anyway. Well, it's something to get you through the day, isn't it? You know, I'm just sorry, mate.
I'm just going to get a pine cone, honey. That's what I call it now, don't know. I don't know. You're here.
I've been hamster beef. Don't mind me. I'm going to get a pine cone. You're doing the rest of his outfit there.
You're just getting orange paint and just paint on yourself. I'll be completely naked, but you know, go with the ground paint. Hey, babe. Again, look, when he's on the hamster, he's on the ground.
He's on the ground. Oh, stop it, Ben. Stop looking, mate. Right, so I'll just let you know, I'm going as the duck.
I'm just going to buy a couple of bananas. Just keep them on the mouth and then maybe wear a green tea shirt, buy that from Point Mark. All right, I'm just going to be out of scrape here. Just a tea shirt, obviously.
Just a tea shirt. How much is the limit? How much is the money limit? 750.
Yeah, but you're not getting a plain green tea from Point Mark for 750. That's going to have a slow, you're going to be a Minecraft one, mate. OK. Get a green marker paint and just colour it into Minecraft logo.
Yeah, that's it. Well, I wouldn't care. I'll be that pissed anyway that they really matter. So I'm there to spoil everyone else's day.
You're not to really have myself. That's the way that I spoil everyone else's day. I'm not going to be the next comic con going to be. That's ridiculous now, man.
Well, we'll have to when lockdown actually finish. When is that? We're just open on the 29th of May. That's why I am.
So maybe we just create our own comic on in a weather spoons. And then we're done. We're sorted. Just dress up as plucking the claymates.
Our burger and a pint of weather spoons. We've been discussing pine cones with people. Dress up and wait for Tim Martin to come and punch us in a thing. Yeah, we're going to put Ryan to find who's going to fight next.
It's a lovely day. Wait for Ryan to find the steals, yes. Smack around the back of it. And then go home.
You would be disappointed if I didn't do that, wouldn't you? That's the thing. That's the thing. Yeah, I mean, we were there.
It's the comic on tradition. Wait, wait, if someone says something to Ryan so we can go, Oh, wait for the literal mic to drop. It's just like, oh, hell, hold on for a second. Yeah, my mates are just going to get into the fight.
We're Paul Baring now. I was like, my mates are really going to do a park a day. Yeah, we did do a few of our today constantly. I liked it when people Parker got out of his clothes and changed into Peter Parker.
That was my favorite. He went from David to night, Peter Parker. And that took him two hours to do. It did take fucking ages.
We were waiting in that pub. We must have had a good seven pints waiting for joining to come back. That was a long time. And then, did we see you there?
They then. I was there for that one. That was the one where I came maybe an hour late. So as soon as I got to the pub, you gave me two shots in the beer.
No, that wasn't that one. That was the one that you. Oh, not Johnny Peter Parker. Johnny Peter Parker, I think you were supposed to go with Matt and you didn't go with him.
Oh, yeah, that's right. Yeah. Is that the one when you went to the pub in North London afterwards and then went to that? Yes.
Yeah. That was in the height of the double, like a pint and a half double gin and tonic chases. If you brought a round and you didn't get a pint and a half and a double gin and tonic chases go with it. Yeah, bang, I'm order.
What happened to you? That was that time? That's when you got to have a morrissey. I didn't appreciate it at all.
No, you appreciate it. We didn't talk about one back. That was a good comic on. Imagine going to the F.
I don't understand that. Imagine going to the F. For being in your house, your family for like a year to go into the front of a Mosh piece around it by a thousand people. How many panic attacks you get in there, man?
No, no. No. No one's no one's to fly in that area after a year of being isolated on your family. Yeah, it's going to be hard, isn't it?
Because obviously I hate most people anyway. I haven't had to deal with that many people. Then you go into so many fights once lockdown happens. There's going to be so many people there in all you.
Your Toronto people have dropped massively. As soon as I've got to look at that, me, it's just going to be... Oh, I've got to see Ryan Bro, why are they smacking me in the face? It's everybody wanting to hug, isn't it?
It seems you're out there. Oh, we're now making hugs. It's all hungy, just fuck up. We've got to perform.
We've got to hug now. Yes, thank you. Thank you, please. Thank you.
Oh, so good. I'm going to be able to actually touch him. Don't touch me. All right, lovely time to join lockdown.
Oh, it's been delightful. I bet your London town's been a hoot, then. London town. Yeah, what we've been doing.
I mean, you go on the bus and everyone's just not wearing masks and you're just like, I mean, it's going to work. But I went on the part the other day and it's just absolutely full of kids. Yeah, but sitting down at the park round by us is just full of kids. Kids don't care.
I mean, bless the little eyes. You can't blame the kids. You know, I try to get them all off the swing. So it's my turn.
Ryan, the COVID police get off the swing. So you can have a go. There's a bunch of kids in the park kicking off and setting fires. I think he's coming and getting rid of them.
I'm out of luck. I can't believe that point. I can't wait to go down that slide. Right, well, on that note, shall we call the the Proq versus Claymates edition of these podcast?
We'll call that then. We'll declare it, plot the winner. He's done mostly fair. I mean, his competition wasn't that strong.
Well, let's let's let's let's. You're going to do something like sort of league of like shit's in this game. So like, Pudley's going to take on a runner. We'll get to the championship.
It would just be like Captain America taking on. Captain America was shit. No, Captain America was great. Oh, no, that's true.
That's true. Hard, but quality. Captain America was acting up against like, what's that? What's the X-Men?
It's the Spider-Man game. That was solid as well. X-Oh, like, you know, when you're in the X-Men? Okay, the arcade.
Yeah, yeah. It was like Spider-Man, Gambit. It was a side-clops, the M game champion of all time, you know. We might do a separately of the best games, but maybe it'd be round two versus claim place round two because they're the most mediocre games ever.
But then again, like you said, Matt, Pudley's Adam's family is fucking mediocre as fuck. That is a proper mediocre game. It was like a spin-off game of a spin-off show of a spin-off program. Like a spin-off film.
That's the thing of Pudley's damage. Ian had a few as well. He had like that rock and roll racing game. What was that?
That's like, it was a crap Mario Kart where every racer was like, a rock and roll stereotype, but it was just like a really, really shit version of it. It was a snare. On the snares, yeah. Every man.
Rock and roll, America. I think I could go that now. Rock and roll, Mario Kart. Rock and roll, Mario Kart.
I mean, wait, I think it's got like rock and roll races or something to crack right that on the snares. That'll have to go against my own machines. Rock and roll racing. That's an actual game, Ben.
I don't think we had that. You played that. No, no, I think you're mate Ian had it. Oh yeah, he was a dickin'.
No, no, no, no. I'm just googling this shit now. Oh yeah, I played this shit. I played this.
Yeah, it's like a shit-moggin' machines. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, like, like, America. I was like, what's been a zero?
I was a kink quality game. S-zero could quite possibly be in the top five games on the snaasable, you know, it's right up there. Soundtrack, which Ben knows. And you heard it the other day live, didn't you?
I can play mute city on the keyboard. Yeah, but, yeah. No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no.
It was so good to say like, I can't use it for a completely different song. Best music on any snaas game is Ademanc's Rage Hands Down. I'm going to be moving. I'm going to be moving.
Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo. I'm going to slip Biscuit in like a remix and that. And, you know, like when that goes into the top four, you file all the way. Speaking of slip Biscuit, man, my lovely, my lovely dinners have arrived.
My lovely lovely lovely, lovely curry, so yeah. Yeah, you can have a curry then, that's fine. You have your phone. Yeah, fish up, Ben.
Don't get to give Johnny a kiss on me. I will say, yeah. You miss as you all. Yeah, I miss him too.
Yeah, I'm going to be Johnny, is he sharing your dinner? Yeah, we'll be sharing the takeaway, didn't we? We'll get him on the next one. So make sure you tell me's coming on the next one then.
I will let him know. Okay, I will speak to you guys soon. Yeah, say goodbye to a listeners. Goodbye listeners.
