#59 | Kike Astorga | I Want to Be a Laborer No Matter Where I Am

from Campus Outreach StaffCast · host Campus Outreach SERVE

Our guest this week is Kike Astorga, Regional Director of Campus Outreach Guadalajara, Mexico. Kike is a native of Guadalajara, commonly referred to missiologically as the center of "the circle of silence” in Mexico, where only 1-2% of the population identifies as evangelical Christian. Kike's personal testimony of faith, his drive to tell others about the gospel, and being convinced to labor among his own people in Jalisco, Mexico, are inspiring to hear. Kike also shares about his family and how good the Lord has been to them in the midst of hardship. The team in Guadalajara is experiencing a movement, and God is doing much to exemplify what can happen when a ministry is dedicated to walking faithfully with Christ and developing new believers into laborers. Movement Spotlight: Campus Outreach Guadalajara, Mexico.Season 4 will focus on our definition of a laborer, “a person mobilized through the church to live out Christ-centered identity with Spirit-filled character, who is governed by a Biblical worldview and who engages persuasively among non-Christians with the gospel and is equipped to multiply this lifestyle in others.”Music by QubeSounds and Bamboo Corporate_________________If you enjoyed this episode, subscribe to the show on your favorite podcasting service to receive new episodes as soon as they are released.Would you like to hear more stories like these?
