Based on a true story, it centers around Tommy Wiseau (portrayed by James Franco) and Greg Sestero (portrayed by Dave Franco), two aspiring actors that meet in acting class. Tommy, a mysterious man with deep pockets, offers to take Greg to L.A. to pursue their dreams.
