A physician and bi-vocational priest, she holds post doctoral graduate degrees from Cornell University Medical College, Yale Divinity School and Tufts University. Marta's research is on spiritual wellness and healing with focusing on the use of prayer as a therapeutic intervention for chronic pain. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, member of the International Association for the Study of Pain, she currently is deployed to the Brandywine Collaborative Ministries in Wilmington.
