This is the fourth installment in a five part series entitled An Exceedingly Great Army. In this series Eric Ludy, Nathan Johnson (and guests) unpack the thoughts and ideas of Eric’s full-length message entitled An Exceedingly Great Army (which he delivered on Sunday, March 28, 2021 - see Eric’s sermon podcast). This particular episode discusses the work of the Holy Spirit in purifying and refining the children of God. When any of us come unto Christ, repent and believe, it begins something amazing in our lives . . . but many of us are unprepared to receive this purifying and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit when it arrives. And as a result, we often push away the blessing and the grace of God instead of submitting to His liberating and loving Presence.
