#597 Carl Baudenbacher - What a seat at the table actually costs

Carl Baudenbacher is a Swiss jurist who spent more than two decades at the heart of European economic law. He joined the EFTA Court in 1995 and served as its President from 2003 to 2017, ruling on the cases that defined how Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein access the internal market.The conversation centres on the argument heard most often in Iceland's EU debate, that the country needs a seat at the table, and what that seat costs in fisheries policy, agricultural policy and independent trade deals.
