An Amazon spokesperson confirmed to CNET that the eCommerce giant will be opening a grocery store in Woodland Hills, California in 2020. The Wall Street Journal reported that Amazon had signed more than a dozen leases in the Los Angeles area, as well as some in Philadelphia, Seattle, D.C., and Chicago as part of its plan to build out the new chain.
