598. Professional drummer Doug Auwarter keeps the beat rock steady going through a stoke, and cancer and a career of over 40 years.

    Doug Auwarter is as good as they come. He is fine human being, friend and an exceptional drummer. Yes, he has made his living as professional drummer – playing and teaching. He is the author of "Essential Latin styles for the drum set," and "Essential Rock for the drum set."  He has played with the finest jazz musicians world-wide .
