幽灵粒子其实就是中微子，至于为什么叫它幽灵粒子，完全是因为这种粒子很难被人们捕捉到，就跟幽灵一般。可以这么说，在目前已知的所有基本粒子中，中微子是最难被探测到的。当然在宇宙中，还存在着一些我们目前无法探测到的粒子，例如：比中微子速度稍微慢一点的暗物质粒子，我们也称其为冷暗物质。
