6/04/2023- Ep 8.2: The Lord's Prayer- "Doxology"
The conclusion of the Lord’s Prayer (Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory forever. Amen) is a doxology, or an expression of praise that is the reflexive response of someone who has prayed it rightly. The focus turns back to God and the kingdom and king we give our allegiance to, the power he has that drives us to dependence, and the glory which is all his, but that he will ultimately share with us in eternity.
