Modern Christianity doesn’t usually reject God — it often reshapes Him. In this opening week of Golden Calves, we look at Israel’s worship of the golden calf and ask a hard question: have we done the same? When worship becomes centered on our feelings, experiences, and spiritual highs, we can mistake emotional atmosphere for genuine surrender.
