6/11/25 8AM: “Put Some Respek On It”

The second hour of Jammin with Juice begins with a continued conversation on if it is alright to stay in touch with an ex from past relationships, considering how things may have ended and the healthy boundaries that might need to be set. Carrie & Ben discuss the people and relationships they’ve seen, even touching on their own parents’ relationships. Truth Nation joins in on the conversation explaining their pasts with exes and how to uphold boundaries or why you should let it go altogether. Ben then takes us down his “Rabbit Hole”, this one centered around hip-hop great Lil Wayne who recently dropped a new album which many mixed reviews and much criticism after the fact. Ben describes the history of his Carter series and just how much it has inspired him with its raw lyricism, begging the question of why we trash legends and are so quick to say our favorite artists of yesterday are trash all of a sudden. Touching on Snoop Dogg and other legends who have been through the fire, Ben wonders just what kind of world we live in where we can’t give people their flowers as their still breathing.
