6/3/22 On The Mark: Mark & Ben host Financial Friday, then argue about guns, oil and Pres. Biden

Mark Lawrence and Ben Reichley host Financial Friday with special guests: Robert Garrett, President, and CEO Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Art Thomas, Chairman GSVCC, President Meck-Tech and Diversified Construction Inc., with their reaction to the latest US and PA jobless numbers and I’ll ask if we are not yet in a recession. Later in the half-hour, they’ll discuss the chamber’s latest activities, events, and meetings.  Also, Nathan Benefield, Senior Vice President, Commonwealth Foundation, with his reaction to the jobless numbers, and the cause and effect of ultra-high inflation. We discussed the impactors on business: supply chain, chip shortage, gas prices, rising interest rates, the lingering pandemic and why all of us who are waiting for something hear the words, ‘not yet.’ During open phones, we discussed Pres. Biden's remarks last night, the gun show loophole (myth...or not), Russia's oil, and gun laws in general.
