This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, the first Sunday after Pentecost, and the official start of our summer series, Life in the Spirit: It’s Complicated. On Trinity Sunday all three readings point us to the mystery of the Trinity and include references to our belief in one God who comes to us in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We’ll explore this mystery using all three readings, which include the wonder of creation and the Great Commission, bringing home why this mysterious doctrine is important and what it has to do with our day-to-day lives.
