God tells his holy-man to marry an unfaithful woman, both of them knowing that she will continue to be unfaithful after the wedding. Sure enough, she fills Hosea’s house with children who are not his. God uses this very scenario to teach His people a lesson they may not learn any other way. Despite their waywardness with Him, God still loves them and still provides for them.
