Episode Description
This week I’m talking to Christine Blair.
So, brace yourselves, this is a long (and fiesty) one…would you expect anything less? If you know Christine you’ll know she has a strong voice so it’s not surprising we cover a lot of ground in this podcast. Christine, a yoga teacher based in Milton Keynes, talks candidly about finding her true passion and turning it into, not only a job, but a lifestyle, as well as trying to make yoga more accessible to her MK community. Prior to teaching yoga, Christine had a corporate career and was called a ‘risky hire’ by her boss…we find out why. She speaks about her yo-yo weight, her tumultuous relationship with her body and going from absolutely hating any form of exercise to loving it…not just yoga, but her on off love of running - we even talk ultra marathons! We also discuss her beef with the yoga industry and ‘bum sculpting’ leggings as well as what it’s like to live on a houseboat and how she finds outlets for her creativity. She’s authentically honest (we discuss that too) and we talk about how and why she said goodbye to her amazing Mum. I really loved getting to know Christine and I hope you do too.
Her Savasana Sound suggestion for you is any track by Garth Stevenson, but she particularly likes a track called Dawn.
