6. Dance your name! On the path to becoming a Waldorf school teacher - with Sterre Toussaint

from Beyond Food Podcast · host Gina Bartusch

I'm all about alternative approaches to living, also to EDUCATION. Growing up in Germany, we would make fun of Waldorf students dancing their names. Is it a myth? Today Sterre and me talk about what brought her on the path of becoming a Waldorf school teacher and the educational approach of Waldorf schools. Tune in! About Sterre: Sterre was born in 2000 in Heiloo, her mom's favourite place, after her two year older brother. Right after that her parents moved to the countryside in France to live self-sustainably until they decided to split up and move back. After that she lived on a couple of little farms in the Netherlands, shooting her roots next to willows and sheep. For as long as she can remember she was always doing stuff with her hands, claying, painting, woodworking, sewing, the list goes on. Growing up she wanted to travel and get out of her own comfort zone, cultivate inner freedom and living from her heart. That’s still what she's doing, plus a whole lot of other things :) Instagram: sterre_toussaint
