On the latest episode of 6 Feet of Separation, your hosts sit down with comic book creator, podcaster and educator Shawn Crystal. Shawn tells us what made him change his mind from wanting to be an animator when he grew up to wanting to create comics and how he landed his first job working for DC Comics in grad school. He also tells us how he did not find success in the comic book world after that for another 10 years. Since then, he’s found himself working for both DC and Marvel Comics, creating for Batman, Deadpool, The X-Men and many others, proving that it’s not always about the destination, but more so about the journey.
