Many international students know the struggle of renewing their residence permit in Germany: very long waiting times, no answer to their emails or calls, uncertainty... Gustavo Campa experienced it himself, and Ines Dos Santos heard about it also from her customers at the law firm where she works. Together, they decided to make a change and work on a solution. Now they are developing their startup OptiMigration, which aims to make the application process for a residence permit at German immigration offices easier.In this episode, they talk about their experience as entrepreneurs in Germany, how open people and authorities have been to their idea, and they give some advice for students with an international or intercultural background who want to start a business in Germany.This is the last episode of the first season of "Startup Takeoff".
