6. People Reviewed Identity — Living on the Street, Passing By Syndrome, Resources — Original Pilot Episodes in Atlanta, GA

from People Reviewed Podcast · host Nic Burgess

Welcome to the pilot episodes of People Reviewed. This was a series of episodes where I went out by myself without a co-host to interview people. This episode is the first of a four-part series of my first night reviewing people in downtown Atlanta, Georgia, at the Centennial Park on May 21st, 2023. I will talk about the nervousness I experience, and you will hear the shaking in my voice from trying to invite people over to my table to talk in exchange for two dollars that I offer to everyone. My first guest (ever) is a man named Brian who talks about what living on the streets, after the passing of a family member, is like. The struggles he has had have been unfortunate as he waits on temporary housing, and the resources that there are for people who consider themselves homeless, unhoused, or between residences.
