6: Pride and Prejudice

Episode 6 of High Expectasians is, unfortunately, not about Jane Austen's 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice. Thanks to our lovely co-host Sanil for coming up with such a punny name for our episode where we talk about the issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Although pride month has been cancelled due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, it is still so important to bring to light the many issues surrounding the LGBTQ+ community, especially within the Asian community. We are really excited to have Hamza join us and share with us his personal experience and journey as a gay Asian man; from coming out to his parents to the difficulties he faces with dating etc. p.s. due to COVID-19, we had to record at our respective homes so the audio quality of each person is not the same.
