#6: Telehealth: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Like it or not, telehealth has fully arrived!  As Covid grappled the world, 2020  saw a dramatic rise in the implementation of telehealth services.  How has telehealth impacted you? Do you love it or hate it? We discuss the pros and cons for both physicians and patients, and share some laughs about some of our personal struggles with it. Patients: did you know there are some key vital signs and pre-visit things you can do to make your visit better?  For instance, as much as we like your newly minted eyebrows, we prefer to see your whole face!  We share a list of dos and don’ts that make your visit more successful. Physicians: patients mostly love the ease of access but also have some expectations from their doctor. We share some thoughts and also a few pointers and ways to get a good physical exam online.
