6 | What Have You Done for Money Lately? Are You Sacrificing Your Soul for Money?

In this episode, I share with you how I have compromised myself for money.  Choosing jobs and staying in jobs based on money was how I lived a large portion of my life. I worked in jobs I wasn’t a hell yes for because they paid really well.   I thought that if I could just make the money and save the money, then at some point in the future, I could actually LIVE how I wanted to live.  There's a term called the golden handcuffs and I have made decisions strictly from money, not from my sacral.  If this resonates with you, I want to give yourself some grace.  Guilt and shame have no purpose here.  Awareness is where your power lies.   It wasn't until learning about Human Design that I realized I had it all backwards.  As a Generator, we are supposed to do work we love and when we do work we love, the money comes easier, and our life is more fulfilling.  Questions to ask yourself to turn on your sacral and get into your body:If I had 100 million dollars, would I continue to stay in this job?If I had 100 million dollars, would I keep prolonging going after my soul’s desires?If I had 100 million dollars, would I start the business that I’ve been thinking about for months/years?If I had 100 million dollars, would I stay in this marriage?If I had 100 million dollars, would I take 6 months-1 year off and give myself time and space? I use the if "I had 100 million dollars" in front of asking the question, because for me, it’s easy to turn on my sacral when I throw that in there because I am not in my head.  It removes the money block for me because I have been so conditioned around money.  As always, do what feels good for you.  Take what resonates and leave the rest.Work mentioned in this episode:The Big Leap by Gay HendricksWays to Connect with Me and Learn More:Apply to Work with MeGenerate a Life Well Lived WebsiteInstagramLinkedInYouTubeGrab your free Human Design chartFoundational Resources
