Welcome to Episode 6 of the Retro Disney World Podcast: "Stubborn Donkey Part II" We appreciate your support and hope you have been enjoying each and every episode. Be sure to check out some of the previous shows along with our latest. This is the epic conclusion to "Stubborn Donkey Part I", so if you haven't listened yet - check it out! Introductions - The regular crew is all here, Todd, Brian, How & JT are all present and accounted for. We discussed in the last episode the projected street video in WOM, well we have a copy of it for your enjoyment. The film was shot in San Francisco back in 1906, right before the big earthquake and fire. A Trip Down Main Street We also found a video of the queue, in World of Motion just before it closes. Take a look! Main Topic - We continue this month with more World of Motion.  Such a large attraction that we needed two episodes just to cover everything. The episode starts off with How discussing the World's First Traffic Jam and we work our way through the second half of the attraction. We learn all sorts of great facts including how they integrated the movie Tron into World of Motion and that you can never have enough speed tunnels. We wrap up with a full length discussion of the TransCenter, which some people may have never experienced as they were in such a hurry to get back on the ride for a second go around. For more views and a '91 perspective on the World of Motion, check out this great footage.  Audio Puzzler - Congratulations to our winner, Andrew Toffoli, guessing Space Mountain. Andrew is the lucky winner of the 3D printed Spaceship Earth container. If you think you know the answer to the audio puzzler this month, email us! [email protected] - All correct answers will also be entered into a drawing December 2015 for a Paul Hartley reproduction map from wdwmap.com!! This months prize is a 1993 WDW calendar! Viewer Mail - We do two pieces of viewer mail this month. First, we got an email from Harry asking about vintage Tigger autographs. JT dug through his archives and found one from the 80s. Harry, if the price is right the autograph is yours... We also heard from Kurt who runs DisneyViewmaster on Instagram. He wants to know where John Lennon signed the breakup papers for The Beatles. Brian chimes in with his great source on this piece of history. Thank you!  Send your questions to [email protected] Film Restoration - We watch and discuss a retro film that has been restored with Pixcel and Imageworks. Follow along with us as we add color commentary to this 1972 Magic Kingdom architecture and landscape film. One of the best films ever featuring Mickey strolling down Main Street with an umbrella in hand and no cast member handler. Enjoy! We hope you enjoyed this episode! If you have any questions, suggestions or find errors please email us [email protected]. Check back with us on May 26th for Episode #7 - We discuss our favorite retro souvenirs & Todd shows his passion for Pictorial Souvenir Books. The team is also in contract negotiations to possibly record some mini episodes from time to time... one should be coming very soon.. Until next time... "Remember how easy it was to learn your ABCs? Thank the Phoenicans."     We have created some original artwork for t-shirts, stickers, pillows, phone cases and more.
