Word of EncouragementRepentance is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It is the doorway back into fellowship with Him. It is the place where brokenness meets mercy, where conviction leads to change, and where surrender becomes the beginning of healing.Many people avoid repentance because they associate it with guilt, punishment, or embarrassment. But true repentance is not God trying to push you away. It is God inviting you closer.The enemy wants you to believe that your mistakes disqualify you. He wants you to hide in shame, stay stuck in guilt, and believe that you have gone too far. But God’s Word reminds us that when we repent and turn to Him, our sins can be wiped away and times of refreshing can come from the Lord.That means repentance does not end in defeat. Repentance opens the door to refreshing.Today, God is not asking you to pretend. He is not asking you to cover up what needs to be confessed. He is not asking you to carry burdens He already made provision to forgive. He is calling you to come honestly, humbly, and fully.There may be attitudes that need to change. There may be habits that need to be surrendered. There may be unforgiveness that needs to be released. There may be words, choices, or thoughts that need to come under the authority of Christ.Do not be afraid to bring it all to God.Repentance is not weakness. It is wisdom. It takes courage to admit when we are wrong. It takes faith to believe God will forgive. It takes maturity to turn away from what has been holding us back.Today, allow the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Ask Him to reveal anything that needs to be surrendered. Then respond quickly. Do not delay your obedience. Do not harden your heart. Do not let pride block your healing.This is your reminder on Day 124: repentance brings refreshing.Return to God. Receive His mercy. Walk in freedom.
