#60 Are You Passionate About Your Career or Are You Obsessed?

Are you passionate about your purpose in life? Do you know what your purpose is? I recently read a book called Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone and I must say, everything he discusses in this book rang true to my belief system.  When you have a purpose, a passion, your life's ambition to do xyz, whatever that project or passion may be.  Do you believe  deep down in your heart of hearts that you were meant to do this thing?  Here are a couple of quick questions you can ask yourself about it to see whether or not you're obsessed about it:   Do you find it hard to tear yourself away from it when you're working on it?  Do you think about it every waking moment of your day or, is it just something you toy around with once in a while and don't think that much about it otherwise? Do you lay awake in bed thinking about how you're going to fuel your project? If you've answered "yes" to any of the above, then, congratulations, you're obsessed.  If you answered "no", then you have some work to do. In Grant's book he discusses the importance of becoming obsessed about your purpose.  To be thinking about it every waking moment and to work on it all the time. I found if I don't have an obsession over my goals, they never seem to crystallize but when I do obsess about them, they actually come to life. Today I want you to become obsessed about your passion.  Whether you're looking to produce a new album, write the next top selling novel or create a work of art that's going to be your masterpiece.  Please do it with love, with gusto but more importantly with obsession.
