60. Feeling for the first time with Lindsay from Victoria
from How I quit alcohol
In this episode I chat with Lindsay from Victoria. Lindsay had a dangerous relationship with alcohol from the age of 14. Early in her 20's she had developed a drinking habit that was so intense she found herself isolating from friends and family so she could drink herself into oblivion. She felt that having people around her would get in the way of her drinking and that "there wasn't enough alcohol in the universe" to satisfy her. Eventually she found herself with no job, she lost her relationship and at the age of 28 she got herself to an AA meeting and she has not had a drink since. This was a great chat and Lindsay's insights are fantastic and her enthusiasm for life is infectious.
