#60. Grief is Universal

Everyone has been or will be visited by death and grief at some point. We go through this experience in different ways. We ignore, we deny, we avoid. We might even not do it  deliberately. We grieve differently and at the same time there are common feeling and experiences we go through. Participating in a seminar about the future of death and dying, recently, made me realise the richness of this topic. It’s a topic that embraces many things. In a mysterious way it makes my reach a depth it hasn’t been there before. Death brings grief. And grief deserves to be treated with respect. Grief is both personal and universal . It’s a personal and collective experience at the same time. I’d like to see our society becoming more open to talk about death.
