Questo consente alle aziende di concentrarsi sul loro obiettivo principale: far crescere il business. Il CEO Massimo Arrigoni ci ha parlato di BEEFREE, e di molto altro. Circa dieci anni fa, MailUp, noto come il MailChimp italiano, era impegnato nella ricreazione del proprio editor per la creazione di email. Durante questo processo, il team ha riconosciuto il potenziale del nuovo editor e ha deciso di lanciarlo come prodotto autonomo sul web, per vedere se avrebbe suscitato interesse. Il nome del progetto, BEEFREE, deriva dal codice interno "B", che stava per "Best Email Editor", con l'ambizioso obiettivo di creare uno dei migliori editor disponibili sul mercato. Nel processo di scelta del dominio, il team ha scoperto che Bfree.com era già occupato, così hanno optato per Beefree.io. La componente "free" del nome rifletteva il fatto che il prodotto inizialmente lanciato era gratuito.
