#60 - Let's talk anxiety

Do you ever get anxious? Cause we do. Often 🙂 Cozy up with us as we deep dive into a feeling we all know too well: anxiety. Inspired by our recent movie night watching Inside Out 2 (spoilers alert!!), we chat about how the heartwarming film mirrors our own experiences with those oh-so-familiar chest/stomach/full body flutters 🦋✨ While anxiety often has negative connotations surrounding it, can it ever serve a positive role in our lives? In today's episode, we open up about our personal anxiety journeys, along with how it has shown up, and still shows up, in our lives. You'll hear about Ro's middle school boys & friendship drama that led to a surprising case of shingles 👀, and how Viv's generalized anxiety shows up in her daily struggle, like an irrational fear of losing her furbaby Charlie 🐶 Join us in grabbing a comfy blanket, and maybe your favorite stress ball, while we explore the fine line between anxiety that gives us a helpful nudge and the kind that leaves us frozen. And as always, we’ll share how we've learned to cope with anxiety, over the years, that was previously more crippling than helpful ❤️‍🩹️‍🩹 🎀 Voice Hugs Shop: www.voicehugspodcast.com 💌 Email: [email protected] 📷 IG: @voicehugspodcast 🫧 Viv's IG: @vivianxvan 🦈 Ro's IG: @rowenatsai Mentions: Book: Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle Learn more about your ad choices.
