Ma. Cecilia Flores-Oebanda, known as “Nanay Day” to those she supports, is a globally recognised human rights advocate and anti-trafficking expert. A former political prisoner and freedom fighter against the Marcos regime in the Philippines, Cecilia went on to found Voice of the Free (VF), a pioneering organisation combating human trafficking and modern slavery.
