Welcome to ’60 Minutes or less’ - a podcast from Birthday Cake For Breakfast - where for episode twenty three, it’s a dream for young teenage me to welcome our guest Ross Millard, guitarist and vocalist in Sunderland’s finest, The Futureheads!With six albums under their collective belts and over 20 years of playing music together, The Futureheads have been part of my life for - well, 20 years now - and I can still fondly recall picking up their self-titled full length on CD from the holy Telford Town Centre. 15 years on in 2019 and I was again in a buying mood, chuffed up to grab a copy of ‘Powers’, their latest album off the back of a bit of a hiatus.Cut to 2024 and the quartet have just announced the forthcoming release of ‘Decent Days & Nights: The Singles’, a compilation of all of their singles (so far) in one brand new release.
