Hello to you listening around the world as 2023 comes to an end!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories from Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Story Prompt Friday and your host, Diane Wyzga.  Today marks Episode 999, the final one for 2023!Thank you and each of you who have sustained me with your generous listening, sharing, shout outs, subscribing, and generally making a ruckus while enjoying “the sorcery of stories.” Together we have helped each other be seen, heard, understood, and listened to. Let’s do it all over again in 2024! “Come for the stories, stay for the magic!” You will have wonderful company as we continue to walk our lives together. As the year winds down I ponder as I wander the old growth forests on my island: what marks my truest success? Who did I lift up, set free from their negative thoughts, invite to join in the circle. When did I take time out for a mindful walk around the lake, pick up the phone and call a friend, or even do something quite silly? When did my decision to set aside my righteous, opinionated, judgmental self make life a bit easier for someone else? And that’s the point, isn’t it? We are spiritual beings living a human existence and trying our best to walk ourselves and each other back home.Story Prompt: As the year winds down what marks your truest success of 2023?
