Hello to you listening in Hackensack, New Jersey!Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Time Out Tuesday and your host, Diane Wyzga.I’m a gardener in the Pacific Northwest. Right now I have what’s called a “winter-looking garden.” The cherry trees, maples, and plants are mostly brown, not at all looking like what I expect will be flourishing in the next few months.Deep down in the cold soil they are getting.Goethe said, “Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Looking at its sad appearance who would think that those stiff branches, those jagged twigs would turn green again and blossom and bear fruit next spring; but we hope they will, we know they will.”And he said, “One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words.”Question: How are you keeping your own good self flourishing these days?Be well, do good work, and keep in touch.      You're always welcome: "Come for the stories - Stay for the magic!"
